A review of COP17 in Durban. RTCC editor Ed King will be on a panel debating the future of the UNFCCC process.

Durban Platform Workshop
As an NGO accredited to the UNFCCC Responding to Climate Change has to submit recommendations to ‘increase the ambition’ of all parties involved in the international climate talks.
This two-hour workshop hosted by RTCC and the SOAS Climate and Energy Policy course will explore policy opportunities and proposals to take the talks forward.

Thursday February 9:
RTCC 2050vision Lecture #1.
Former UNFCCC chief Michael Zammit-Cutajar will deliver a talk entitled: “20 years of talking: What have the global climate negotiations achieved?”
The lecture will be held in partnership with the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR), one of the UK’s leading think tanks.
